Janet Jackson Cancels ‘Unbreakable’ World Tour
Janet Jackson has had a traumatic return back to the music scene to say the least. The iconic singer has had to cancel yet another leg to her ‘Unbreakable’ European tour unbeknownst to eager fans. The tour was set to begin in 3 weeks in the UK but the announcement has derailed her performance schedule.
Fans were alerted of the concert postponement through Ticketmaster with the statement, ‘It is not possible to confirm new dates at the present time so we are refunding all ticketholders,’ according to the BBC.
Additional territories canceled included British venues scheduled March 30 in Birmingham as well as Glasgow, Manchester and London.
Last year, Jackson had a medical scare that was allegedly associated with throat cancer causing her to delay several concert dates within the states to recover. The singer denied having cancer but did inform that she would be taking some time off from an undisclosed illness.
“The rumors are untrue. I do not have cancer. I’m recovering,” the clip said. “My doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised, the postponed shows will be rescheduled.”
Do you think Ms. Jackson is suffering from a more severe medical condition that could derail her career?
