Sophia Bush joined Michelle Obama along with Missy Elliott and Queen Latifah at the South By Southwest Arts Festival in Texas on Wednesday. Earlier in the week, Michelle Obama delivered a riveting keynote speech declaring she would not be running for the President of the United States at any conceivable time.
Michelle clarified more poignantly at Wednesday’s summit that raising her daughters was the utmost priority with no presidential campaign in sight.
"I have these two young [daughters] at home. Being the daughters of a president, just think about it. Not so easy. They handled it with grace and poise," she said. "I will not run for president."
Sophia Bush summit embodied her concerns and strategies to improve upon young girl’s educational opportunities and health issues. Bush demonstrated her push for fostering and furthering the initiative for Michelle Obama’s Let Girls Learn campaign. The campaign strives to encourage and inspire young girls to fulfill their scholastic endeavors.
"I'll be at #SXSW with @FLOTUS talking about #62MillionGirls," tweeted Bush on Monday.
