Elizabeth Olson Shows Off Key Singing Skills in “I Saw The Light”
Leave it to Elizabeth Olson, actress and sibling to the “Olson Twins,” to just let it all hang out while singing off key. The younger actress of the bunch gave her best awkward rendition in new flick “I Saw The Light”
Elizabeth Olson is playing the role of Audrey Mae Williams, wife to legendary country singer Hank Williams. Taking on this struggling character did not bring any reservations to the accomplished actress on how her questionable vocal skills would come across to the public.
"I didn't care," she tells FOX411. "I think I might have cared at the beginning because, I guess, ego."
"I Saw The Light," is based on the book "Hank Williams: The Biography" by Colin Escott with George Merritt and William Macewen.
The film tackles the tumultuous relationship between Hank Williams and his wife as he works his way out of his small town music scene into international country music stardom.
"I Saw The Light" was written and directed by Marc Abraham. It opened in New York, Los Angeles and Nashville on March 25; and will be nationwide on April 1.
